Evolution Gaming Group AB, one of the leading iGaming developers has announced that online casino players in the province of Ontario can now find access to several of its live-dealer games by accessing their domain at OLG.com.

The Swedish company did state in news release that was issued on Wednesday that the impending launch, which includes real-time roulette games and baccarat plus several random number generator games is due to a renewed collaboration with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) Corporation. Following past similar agreements reached with the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, Alberta Gaming, Loto-Quebec, Liqour and Cannabis, the firm stated that the debut now means that their live-dealer online casino games are now available in 4 Canadian provinces.

Customized turn

Earlier this month, Evolution Gaming Group AB signed a deal that saw it entering a newly regulated iGaming market in Netherlands via FairPlayCasino.nl domain. The developer went on to state that the entire real-time titles it provides to players from Canada are developed from a custom-made studio located in the western city of Vancouver with OLG. Com and has now added entertainment to their already-offered range of video slot, lottery and electronic scratchcard advances.

Expanding enterprise

Jeff Millar who serves as the North American Commercial Director for Evolution Gaming Group said that the arrangement made with OLG. Com has ‘further strengthened’ his company’s position in the state of Canada by allowing gamers from some of the most populous provinces in the country to ‘interact directly with real casino dealers via an Internet video feed.’

“From the start, our intention has been to create a world-leading live casino studio with the capability and capacity to service all the Canadian lotteries. We are excited to provide OLG.com with our growing library of live-dealer games and sharing the invaluable insight we have gained in serving the other Canadian provinces,” read a statement from Jeff Millar.

Proliferating portfolio

Dave Pridmore, Chief Digital and Strategy Officer working for the state-run OLG Corporation was also full of praise for the domain at OLG.com. In his part, Pridmore did describe the domain as ‘a leader in the digital gaming space’ before further explaining his delight at the opportunity of being able to be part of Evolution Gaming Group AB. He hopes to expand the ‘online game offering’ of the site.

“We want to provide the best live-dealer experience available and we are confident that our players will love the quality and the choice of these games; playing at tables with other Canadian players and game presenters,” read a statement from Pridmore.

Financial fortune

In news related to this, Evolution Gaming Group AB said in a subsequent press release that their 3rd quarter net profit did actually increase by close to 98% year over year to €157.4 million ($183.7 million). The Stockholm-listed organization attributed this to a 97% increase in associated operating revenues to €276 million ($322.2 million), along with a 124% increase in the earnings of before tax, interest, depreciation, and amortization to €527.7 million ($616.5 million) on an improved corresponding margin of 68.7% up from 7.2%.
