Allocations Distributed

The company had just begun issuing quarterly revenue-sharing allocations to the municipalities of Ontario. The Municipality Contribution Agreement distributes these funds to regions, all in exchange for the hosting of casino properties on their land. For example, the City of Windsor was paid CA$2,158,545 just last week for hosting Caesars Windsor Casino in the dates between October 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021.

Last week, even more regions in Canada received their portion of non-tax gaming funds. CA$580,000 and CA$91,000 were awarded to Peterborough and Cavan-Monaghan in that order. Another apt example is example is the Greater Sudbury that saw the city receiving an allocation of CA$386,488 for the hosting of Gateway Casinos Sudbury. You need to note that the entire payments are for the firm’s 2021 fiscal 3rd third quarter.
